SDE II, PARS Tech - COMS (Level 5)

Description of the position

Amazon is looking for a qualified applicant who is enthusiastic about upending the way goods are purchased, sold, and distributed on a worldwide scale.

 The ideal applicant will actively participate in developing new tools, services, and distribution systems throughout Amazon's expanding reach.

 The services and tools made possible by this position will provide Amazon's 100MM+ customers an unheard-of range of choices and pricing while breaking new ground in supply chain innovation. 

With interactions spanning a wide range of e-commerce themes, the ideal applicant will flourish in a quick-paced, ambiguous environment and exhibit proficiency across a wide range of disciplines and skill sets.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of professional software development experience, excluding internships

1+ years of expertise helping to shape the architecture and design of new and existing systems, including architecture, design patterns, dependability, and scalability.

having knowledge of at least one programming language for software.

Large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications and tools will be designed, developed, delivered, and supported by software development engineers. Qualifications: - A bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a closely connected discipline is required of candidates.

excellent ability to solve problems.

possess a profound grasp of the fundamental concepts in computer science, including databases, algorithms, and data structures.

Write code of Amazon-caliber in a Linux environment using an object-oriented language, ideally Java.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in both written and verbal communication, a quick learner, and able to swiftly adjust to a dynamic work environment.

deep understanding of asynchronous architectures and distributed systems.


FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS

MS in computer science or comparable professional experience

direct interaction with technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders.

a track record of successfully delivering complex software solutions to clients

projects using machine learning and deep learning
